Nervous system of dogs
The nervous system of dogs is an area studied by many scientists. The nervous system of dogs tends to respond to irritation by certain behavioral acts: arousal or inhibition.
The internal factors of this property have not been analyzed for a long time. Judging by the external manifestation, we can assume about their nature and relationship. With the development of microelectrode technology, allowing to register the difference between the potentials of the internal and external environment of the neuron, neurophysiologists were able to investigate the mechanism of the nervous process of behavior.
Excitation is an active biochemical, bioelectric process by which living cells and tissues (nervous, muscular, glandular) respond to external stimuli (stimuli). Excitation is a carrier of information about the properties coming from outside the stimuli, and together with inhibition is a regulator of the activity of all organs and systems of the body.
In dogs, two types of inhibition were found: external and internal. External inhibition occurs when a strong irritation depresses, restrains the less powerful.The inhibition, by means of which elimination of undesirable acts of behavior is achieved, is an important aspect of the nervous activity necessary for constructing the methods of dog training.
Inhibition, as studies have shown, is not uniform.
Divide braking into two groups and four subgroups.
I. Unconditional, congenital, passive inhibition:
A. External: a) extinguishing brake; b) permanent brake.
B. The Beyond.
II. Conditional, active, acquired (internal) inhibition:
1. Extinguishing inhibition.
2. Differentiation braking.
